Roger Craig pitched a 3 hitter as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee

Braves by a score of 8 to 1 at County Stadium.

Brooklyn wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning when they

tallied 2 runs on 1 hit. That early run support was enough for Craig(2-1)

and Brooklyn. Brooklyn banged out 9 on the night.

Bob Buhl(12-5) suffered the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 7

runs in 5 and 2/3 innings.
