Right fielder Andy Pafko had 2 base hits and 3 RBI at County Stadium as the

amazing Milwaukee Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6 to 2.



Chet Nichols(8-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for Milwaukee. He

was reached for 5 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings reducing his ERA from

3.64 to 3.41. Overall Milwaukee out-hit Pittsburgh 11 to 5.



Vern Law(8-12) took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up

9 hits and 2 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
