Bob Buhl tossed a complete game as the strong Milwaukee Braves outscored the

hopeless Pittsburgh Pirates in 10 innings 4 to 3.



The score was tied at 3 after nine. Finally, Milwaukee pulled the game out in

the 10th inning. Danny O'Connell slapped a single. Bill Bruton next to the

plate and he tripled making Milwaukee the victors to the delight of the home

town faithful. Milwaukee managed 9 in their victory.



The winning pitcher was Buhl(13-5) who allowed 3 runs for the game. Max

Surkont(4-11) ended up with the loss in relief.
