At Crosley Field the New York Giants easily handled the Cincinnati Redlegs by

the score of 5 to 1.



The game started off with New York taking the lead in the first as they scored

2 runs on 2 base hits. That was all the runs Jim Hearn(9-12) needed. New

York had 9 hits for the night while Cincinnati had 2.



Hearn got help from Johnny Antonelli who was credited with his 1st save. Joe

Black(6-1) suffered the loss. He pitched 9 innings allowing 9 hits and 2

walks.
