AL Transaction August 10th
The Kansas City Athletics sent down outfielder Don Plarski & pitcher Marion Fricano today.
Plarski, a 25 year old rookie, was called up on July 18th. In 4 games he was 0-11 with 4 strikeouts and a stolen base.
Fricano, in his 4th season (all with the Athletics), has been up & down all year. The 32 year old righty was (1-0) with a 3.20 ERA in 20 innings pitched this season. Last year he was (7-13) with a 5.33 ERA in 150 innings.
