The Milwaukee Braves nipped the Chicago Cubs in 10 innings 3 to 2 at Wrigley

Field in a hard fought contest.



The score was tied at 2 after nine. Milwaukee came out on top in the 10th

inning. Johnny Logan doubled. After another out, Chuck Tanner stepped in

and he hit a deep fly scoring the run. Milwaukee had only 6 hits for the

game.



Ernie Johnson(6-4) was the winner allowing no runs in 3 innings. Sam

Jones(12-11) ended up with the loss in relief. Milwaukee continued their

winnings ways improving their record to a league leading 75-42. They are 8-2

in their last ten games. Chicago has a record of 61-60 after the loss.
