NL Transaction August 16th
The Milwaukee Braves called up 23 year old catcher Bob Roselli today. Roselli was signed as an amateur free agent in 1950 by the then Boston Braves and has been working his way up the system since. Braves skipper Charlie Grimm hoped to have Roselli make his major league debut in todays game.
