NL transaction August 17th
The Milwaukee Braves placed starting pitcher Gene Conley back on the DL today. Conley, the 24 year old righthander, tried to come back from arm problems but was shelled in his only start since returning from the DL on August 13th. He finishes the season (11-7) with a 3.76 ERA in 158 innings and 21 starts.
