First baseman Gail Harris jacked one out of the ballyard at Connie Mack

Stadium as the New York Giants beat the Philadelphia Phillies by the count of

5 to 2.



New York promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they tallied 2

runs on 2 hits. New York finished with 10 hits in the victory.



Ruben Gomez(7-11) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 5 innings. Paul
