Berra made sure the New York fans enjoyed themselves. He ripped a solo home

run in the 1st inning, doubled in the 2nd inning and lofted a solo-blast

'downtown' (his 29th of the season) in the 6th inning. New York had a total

For Larsen(9-2) it was his 3rd shutout this year. Ned Garver(15-11) was given
