Herb Score pitched a 3 hitter at Griffith Stadium where the Cleveland Indians

beat the Washington Nationals 6 to 2.



Score(17-9) simply dominated Washington. He didn't give up much, just 3 hits

and 7 walks in 9 innings. Score struckout 15 Washington batters. Cleveland

rapped out 10 hits for the night.



Mickey McDermott(5-11) was charged with the loss. Score, when asked about his

15 strikeout performance noted, 'The important thing is that we won, if I get

20 and we lose, what good does it do our team? But, on the other hand, since

we won it feels great!'
